Hospitality procurement from
concept to completion
Blue Moon is a London-based specialist hotel procurement company built around Gordon Anderson’s 25+ years of global hospitality, construction and operations experience.
About us
From specification to installation, we offer efficient, communicative and transparent procurement services that are both competitive and ethically responsible.
In new build or refurbishment programmes for international brands or entrepreneurial independents, our purpose is to protect the design intent while also protecting the client’s budget.
Expertly sourced
fixtures, fittings & equipment
Our specifications knowledge is vast, our understanding of sustainable quality is inherent, and our honed global supplier network is one of our unique strengths.
We believe in collaborating early in the process, at all levels, and with all members of the design team. This is how we create solid foundations that will support and inform the project through to completion.
Proactively planned
operating supplies & equipment
As a hotel project develops, the needs of each department will naturally present themselves. But we believe in assessing, identifying and specifying requirements from the outset.
We do this by working closely with the appointed GM and heads of department to approach the project from a holistic point of view. Giving clients early indicators of requirements, along with a detailed projection on associated costs and lead-times, enables the project to maintain its flow and complete on schedule.

Model Rooms
vision made real
Realising the combined vision of our clients and their designers is our priority. So much goes into the design process that we make sure everything we do embraces, supports and embeds it.
To demonstrate our understanding and bring the vision alive for client approval before rollout, we are equipped to take full responsibility for delivering detailed model rooms either on or off-site.
Tried and tested
working practices
Because we understand the importance of clarity, fluidity and accuracy, we operate on a fixed-fee basis. Agreeing our fees at the outset of the project, based on the level of involvement required, enables our clients to budget accurately for the other parts of their big picture.
We manage the procurement function by setting up individual bank accounts to hold client funds. These funds are held in trust, with all purchase orders signed by our client on provision, by us, of full documentation to support the decision. Payments are only made to suppliers after client approval.
Monthly reporting, including bank reconciliations, ensures full transparency at all times. This proven process keeps things moving in the right direction, and at the correct pace, throughout the project.
Alternatively, we can operate a system whereby our client raises all purchase orders and pays all suppliers directly. Our ability to be flexible is another of our unique strengths.
Well placed to provide
other services
We are primed to assist with requirements beyond our core procurement role. Our
position within the project team, coupled with our unrivalled professional connections,
makes us the ideal partner for management of many supporting services:
- Signage
- Printing
- Standardising operating procedures
- F&B strategy
- Tabletop design and presentation
- Menu development
- Branding and logo design
- Website development
